KLM Pet Travel Terms and Conditions

1) Pets in Cabin

• If you are traveling in the economy class or business class within Europe, you can take one cat or dog in the cabin.
• The maximum weight of all the luggage you add, including your pet, is 8 kg. 
• The maximum kennel size is 46 x 28 x 24 cm, and your pet must fit in this size. It is not allowed to open the kennel or take out your pet. 
• The pets are not allowed while you travel on premium class and business class KLM flights.   

2) Pets in the Hold

• You have to ensure that the combination of all pets is not more than 75kg.  
• The maximum size of the kennel in the KLM flight is 122 x 81 x 89 cm, and the maximum size of the kennel in the cityhopper flight of KLM is 102 x 69 x 76 cm.
• How much does it cost to bring a pet on KLM Flight?
• If you are thinking about the KLM pet fees or If you take the pet on a KLM flight, then the payment for each pet is EUR 75 to EUR 400 only for one way. And the flight fare depends on the departure time and destination. You will get the exact payment when you make the reservation or book a flight. 

KLM Restrictions for bringing Pet on Flight?

• It is not allowed to bring pet animals other than dogs and cats. 
• Make sure that the weight of the pet and kennel is not more than 75 kg. 
• You are not allowed to travel on a different flight and your pet to travel on a different flight. 
• You must travel to a country where authorities allow the pet as cargo. 
• Lastly, the size of the kennel must be larger than 122 x 81 x 89 cm on the KLM flight, and on the chopper, the size is more than 102 x 69 x 76 cm.
• You can not bring your pet if you travel premium comfort class and business class on intercontinental routes in the flights.
